Clone Access Group

You can clone access groups in the event a new access group has similar rights to those of another access group. The system performs the following actions when cloning an access group:

• Creates a new access group with an Access Group ID comprised of the original group's ID, followed by an incremental number.

• Copies the details, rights, and limitations from the original access group.

To clone an access group:

1. Access the access group you want to clone.

2. Click the Clone button.

   A dialog box opens, asking you to confirm your choice.

3. Click the Yes button.

   Maintenance Connection clones the record and refreshes the page. The new record opens. The new record has an Access Group ID that matches the cloned record, with the addition of an incremental number.

4. Make your changes.

5. Click the Save button.

   Your changes are saved.
